Picture This Life

My buddy T-Rich grew up in Orange County, California. He often referred to the OC as the Capital of Cool. I think of this almost every time I wear my brown jacket with the suede elbows.

Several years ago, I saw a fellow wearing a similar brown jacket with suede elbows and I thought to myself, what a cool jacket. From that moment on, I was on a casual search for a similar jacket.

And this summer, I found it.

On these chilly winter days, I often wear it to work. My coworkers tease me, they call me ‘the professor.’ But that’s ok, I think they’re right to call me that. You see, I think I think better when I’m wearing it. Yep, it makes me smarter, and when you factor in the fact that it looks awesome, it’s no wonder I love this jacket.

From time to time I catch people looking at me and my jacket, and you know, I can almost hear their thoughts….

That guy looks smart, sophisticated and cool in his jacket, I bet he’s from the OC.
