Melting off the AC

The office is cold. It can’t be much warmer than 70 or 75 degrees. And when I leave work for the day, the outside temperature is hot. It can’t be much cooler than 95 degrees. And strangely, for about five minutes the searing sun of the Kansas summer isn’t hot. It’s perfect. I’ve been cold since eight o’clock in the morning, and much like running from a chilly pool into a sauna, it feels great.

Sometimes I even sit in my car for a few seconds to soak in the greenhouse warmth.

Too cold to too hot… one more wonderful contrast of summer.
