I’m nothing if I’m not honest. And honestly, if I didn’t live in Kansas City I wouldn’t be a Royals fan. Nor, for that matter would I be a Chiefs fan, Cabela’s fan, and perhaps not even a barbecue fan. But I am adaptable. And, when in Rome….
But back to the Royals. At 49 and 69 they are 20 games under .500. Watching them play of late has reminded me of a joke I once heard. It goes something like this…
What do the Royals and a possum have in common? They both play dead at home and get killed on the road.
20 games under. Outscored by 54 runs this season. Guys, it’s not even fun anymore!

Welcome to Kc and being a Royals fan. You were not even born yet when they were actually REALLY good.
It’s a bit of a shame, isn’t it. Fortunately, two of my three favorite teams have been good… the Blue Jays and the Packers. If only the Maple Leafs could figure it out.
