Lola and Indie have claimed the sidewalk in front of our house as their territory. Neighbors who walk their dogs by our house are chastised by two very excited, barking dogs. For as small as she is, Lola packs a mighty bark. And when she’s safe inside standing next to Indie she howls her head off.
The other night as we walked our dogs through the neighborhood we passed a house with a big German Shepherd. As we walked on his sidewalk, he ferociously barked at us from his front door. Our bold and brave Lola showed her true colors as she jumped out of her skin and then took of running with a reckless abandon borne of sheer terror.
I could almost hear her yell to Indie as she started her frantic dash… SCATTER!!! EVERY DOG FOR HERSELF!!!
