No Fly Zone

We just had new windows installed. They are big, clean and bright. Finn and I were eating our cheerios the other morning with a loud thump drew our attention to a smudge and a puff of feathers on the new glass. A catbird sat on the patio under the window, clearing his headache for a moment before flying off.

Finn: This won’t do, Daddy. That’s the third bird this month. I have to do something to warn them.

And so he got to work on a sign that transcended the human-avian language barrier.

To Finn’s credit, we haven’t bent a feather since the installation of the no fly zone poster.
