As a marketer, this is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. A portion of my time each day at work is dedicated to “spinning.” By this I mean:
– Making a message fit an audience
– Taking an internal process and creating value it’s in the mind of a customer
– Gradually chipping away at preconceived biases and perceptions
This video, aside from being hilarious, nails the points above as it tries to shift the perception of minivans away from uncool to something worthy of swagger.
This is the challenge of marketing and this is the fun of marketing, too. Marketers… we’re kind of a big deal.

AA – There is little original content in advertising – the SwaggerWagon lightly rips stuff like the attached. Which, by the way, I send to you not as a comment on advertising and spin, but more so as an introduction to what you have to look forwad to in the not-too-distant future!
