As a kid, I collected baseball cards. While I have cards that feature some of the greats of the day – Ken Griffey Jr, Nolan Ryan, Bo Jackson – my favorite card of all is of Joe Carter, Toronto Blue Jay.
I’ll never forget that October night in grade seven when my brother, Dad and I jumped around the living room in our Ontario home after the Blue Jays won their second straight World Series. We high-fived, we screamed, we hugged. It was our greatest baseball moment ever. And it was all thanks to Joe Carter and the ball he parked in the left field bleachers.

We have an office in Philadelphia. Sometimes on conference calls or when I meet face-to-face with my coworkers I’ll sneak two little words into the conversation… Mitch Williams.
They love it when I do that.

If I remember right, he’s a Kansas City guy.
Close. Born in Oklahoma I think, played for Wichita State in college. May live in KC now though. If you ever see him around, have him sign something for me, and tell him I can trade him for an Erik Estrada headshot.
