While mostly in jest, Laura has long proclaimed that I have Bieber-fever. My retort, naturally, is that knowing the words to a couple of Justin Bieber’s choruses does not equate to full-blown fever.
But the other day that all changed. My temperature definitely went up when Laura shared with me that Justin and I have a common birthday, March 1st. After a bit of research online, I also learned that we have common roots grounded in the soil of Ontario, Canada. Creepy, I know.
As I usher in the big 30, I’ll not only be celebrating with family and friends, but somewhere I’ll also be celebrating with the Biebs. While I still have a couple of hours to think about what I’ll wish for as I puff out my birthday candles, I know that if I were Justin I’d wish for a long-lived squeaky voice, as I’m almost certain that the cure for Bieber-fever is puberty.
