We all have foods we just don’t like. My bottom three are red licorice, brussel sprouts and bananas.
I detest bananas.
Whether they are fresh and mushy, dehydrated into chips, baked into a loaf, topped with ice cream, or artificial and covered in a candy shell made of yellow dye #5, the quickest way to ruin a fruit salad, trail mix, loaf of bread, divided dessert or sugary snack is to make it taste like bananas.
When I see those chocolate covered bananas at the fair, I’d rather eat the stick.
If I were a monkey, I’d rather eat the tree.
No joke, I once had a nightmare that I was falling while sipping on a banana smoothy with brussel sprout ice cubes through a Twizzler straw.
