Great Expectations

For a thirtieth birthday gift, Laura gave me an iPad 2. It’s a nice gift. Too nice of a gift. I thanked her but told her that it was more than she should have given.

Laura: Your thirtieth birthday only comes along once. Don’t think you’re getting something this nice every year. For thirty-one… think sweater.
