Sticking to it

Laura and I are preparing our wedding invitations. We lick envelopes and stick a 42 cent Forever stamp on each.

The best idea to come out of the USPS since metal detectors, these stamps, purchased more than a year ago, are  designed to increase in value in step with the increasing fees of postage, thus they are good Forever.

Laura: I wish the post office had better wedding envelope stamps.

Me: What do you mean? These stamps are perfect for a wedding.

Laura: No they’re not. These are just boring Forever stamps.

Me: Exactly. Forever.
