Giada De Laurentiis is a cute little Italian chef with a successful cooking show on the Food Network. She’s friendly and likable, and most of the food that she cooks looks pretty good. By all accounts, I should be a fan of Giada and her show. But I’m not. I’m the opposite. She is the nails to my chalkboard. And here’s why….
Giada will be chattering along just fine, “Roll out the pizza dough, sauce it to your liking, and then add the cheese on top. You could use any type of cheese that you like, but my favorite is a nice, fresh, MOOSE-R-ELLA.”
MOOSE-R-ELLA?! It drives me crazy when she sneaks in those accented words out of nowhere. I wish she’d either speak English, speak Italian, or cook with cheddar.
