On our way to church last Sunday Laura and I made a to do list of all of the things we wanted to accomplish that afternoon.
Me: Notice all the things that are not on our list because they’re already done? Cleaning the basement, the office and the closet. I’ve been busy the past few weekends.
Laura: You sure have. The house looks great. You’ve been doing a lot more cleaning lately than I have.
Me: That’s ok. I know you’ve been busy while I’ve been cleaning.
Laura: I have been?
Me: Yep, working on your beauty sleep while napping on the couch.

I’ll make it up to you during hunting season and you come home to a clean house every weekend 🙂 Besides, when Lola asks me to nap with her on the couch who am I to say no?!
