Smoking is not allowed in any Southwest aircraft, the only place that you may smoke on this flight is on the wing. Our rule is simple, while you’re out there, if you can light it, you can smoke it….
In case you haven’t ridden in a car in the last 50 years, this is a seat belt. To fasten your seat belt, place the metal tip into the buckle, and tighten the straps so that it fits low and tight across your hips. To release, lift the top of the buckle. If you’re traveling with children today… why? Anyway, please ensure that they are buckled in safely.
If cabin pressure should change, panels above your seat will open revealing oxygen masks; reach up and pull a mask towards you. Place it over your nose and mouth, and secure with the elastic band, that can be adjusted to ensure a snug fit. The plastic bag may not fully inflate, although oxygen is flowing. Secure your own mask first before helping others. If you’re traveling with more than one child today, we can’t tell you which child to help first, but we do recommend that you start with the one with the most potential.

for what it’s worth, I really, really dislike airline personnel who try to be funny. To quote Queen Victoria “I am never amused.”
I generally am not amused by their witty banter either. But with the two screaming kids behind me, I just had to laugh at this one!
