Current data suggests that it takes more than $300,000 to raise a child to the age of 18. With that in mind, the other day my fishing buddy Ed and I were talking about kids.
Ed: The real question is, when you guys start your family will you add those decals to the rear window of your car?
Me: Probably not. Will you?
Ed: Either way, yes.
Me: What do you mean?
Ed: If we have kids, we’ll add kids to our family of decals.
Me: And if you don’t?
Ed: Then we’ll add decals of bags full of money where kids would have been.
