Forrest Gump once said, “That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run. So I ran to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I’d run to the end of town. And when I got there….”
On July 12, 2010, for no particular reason other than I liked to write, to take pictures, and to tell stories, I decided to start writing Picture This Life. So I wrote a story. Once I wrote one, I realized I had a lot more stories to tell, so I wrote another, and another, and another.
Every other day for more than three years I wrote a story.
More than 600 posts later, I’ve told most of the stories I wanted to tell. Because of that, and because of a frantic pace to life these days, I’ve decided to slow down – just a little bit – from what I can only describe as the frenzied pace to my publication schedule.
While there may be a tad more than a day in between each one, I assure you that the stories and pictures will keep on coming – we’ve come this far together, but we’ve still got a long, long way to go.
