Like all kids, Finn and Gray are prone to the occasional sibling scuffle. But everyone now and then, they say or do something to each other that provides a glimpse into the deeper, caring side of their relationship.
The other night, in the span of about four minutes Gray bumped her head on the counter, spilled a sippy-cup of milk, and twirled a curl in her hair so tightly that she got her finger stuck.
Her sleepy blue eyes bore a stream of tears that ran down her little red cheeks. Finn walked over, gave her a hug, patted her back, and whispered sweetly, “I’m sorry you’re having a tough time of it tonight, Sissy.”
Now that’s the good stuff.
