I have a set of photos on my desk. Laura and Indie are prominently featured. A coworker recently came by my office for the first time. She admired the photographs for a moment.
Monica: Beautiful photographs, Aaron.
Me: Thank you!
Monica: That must be your wife.
Me: Yes. That’s Laura.
Monica: She’s pretty. And that dog is beautiful too.
Me: Thank you. Her name is Indie.
Monica: Goodness me. Beautiful wife, beautiful dog, beautiful life. You’re a lucky guy, Aaron.
Me: Monica, you’re the best.
